Hi All,

Does anyone keep their old DE blades for recycling, if so, where and how do you get them recycled?

It seems to me, there must be a second use for all this consumable steel.

Yup - in a blade bank until it's full, then when it is, decant it into an empty (steel) bean can, hammer the top shut and drop it in the recycling bin.

Yes. In a feathers blade bank. Recycle them at our recycling unit. Job done.

That's why you hammer it shut so there's no escape in the collection phase - when it gets to the recycling facility it's all sorted by magnets & induction loops - no more hands involved, often they mince it all up at the start so that pieces composed of mixed metals are separated too.
