is provence sante shaving soap readily available in french shops, and if so which ones? my boss is going to france on holiday in a few weeks and if its easy to find was thinking of asking him to bring me back some.

As far as I know know, the subtly floral Verlaine soap I have and which Bechet got in the group buy is being/has been replaced by a new version with citrus oils.

I was in Paris earlier this year. Monsavon was everywhere. I asked in a few likely looking shops for Provence Sante, much scratching of tete's and a resounding 'Non'.

I wouldn't count on it either - I've just been to Toulouse two weeks ago and browsing quite a few shops for a couple of hours for a Provence Sante soap, but had luck whatsoever. In fact I was quite surprised to see most of the shops had a rather poor selection of shaving soaps if any at all. Tabac soap and L'Occitane Cade is as good as it gets (both very recommendable products in my opinion).

Nope, Provence Sante have their boutiques and those are the only places to get it from. Like l'Occitane or C&E, for example.

I just had a look and it seems like you can purchase the soap from their website as well. They do ship outside France as well.

Good performers (both the Verlaine and the Green Tea),good scents (specially the Verlaine) but for some reason,Im more prone to use made in UK soaps, than french ones,these days.
