Procurement of Blades

Is there a "goto" place to get blades on the net, reliable and reasonable?

As you can see I'm still new to the DE world, but wondering if you have any recommendations for the purchase of blades.

I've been lucky enough to get a collection from shrink, and trying some out has opened my eyes to how different each blade is, and how personal the choice of blade is.

I now want to try as many different blades as I can in search of that ultimate combo.

Connaught Shaving do good selection packs. He delivers fast too, highly recommended. Also sells on eBay but you may as well buy direct.

Connaught is excellent, and ebay have a wide range (bulk is particularly good). Amazon is good for the ubiquitous brands like Derby.
Just be wary about buying any iridium super on ebay as this blade is very good, very popular and recently out of production with the result that there are some fakes out there.

Keep an eye out for recommendations on blades that are posted, people will usually include where they purchased them from.

Unless the the post has "Sunburyboy93" and/or "Jewel Super Stainless" in it, stay WELL AWAY..! ;)

i have 20 boxes of jewells left, i am gonna use Photoshop and make me some cardboard blade box advertising inserts, then gonna remove the Jewell ones and put some vintage wilkinson sword lookalike ones in, then flog them on the B/S/T :evil: :evil: :twisted: :twisted:
or look out for 20 boxes of vintage wilks popping up on e-bay soon !!! :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :oops: :oops:



(as if i would ;) )
 
There is as much of a chance of you being disassociated with “Jewel Super Stainless” as heroblob has with dancing around the front room with his dyson whilst his other half photographs him. :lol: :lol:
