Any hints, pointers, ideas very welcome and thanks

Like this. Saving that for Matron - get me in her good books.Strawberries, apple, and any other fruit you fancy with cucumber, mint and a dash of Angostura Bitters. Dilute with lemonade.and serve ice cold. If she likes it......Austins from Aldi is the same stuff and much cheaper. My wife loves it.....especially the alcohol 'sozzled' fruit at the bottom of the jug at the end!
Class traitor! A Buckfast spritzer, that's what you want on a tap's aff day. Remember to keep the empties for defensive purposes when the inevitable hand to hand combat breaks out. - I.My wife bought a bottle and no idea what is the best way to enjoy it.

Peasants are revolting. It's not just the Pimms you have to get right. There should be a whole spread to go with it. Cucumber sandwiches. Scones with jam and cream. Empire biscuits. Venison pie. And a roast peasant.

Haha I can just see you in posh boy schmutter getting all lairy after a bottle of cucumber-infused tennis beer! Come come dear boy, fracas for flat roof pubs; Pimms precedes pugilism. Queensbury rules! Oof!
Never been to Huddersfield but I do remember visiting my grandmother in Bedford during Pimm's season. We all had to hide in the cellar until it was over. You rotten bugger. I take it in your case you are referring to folk from Huddersfield?
Don't forget to hang them for a few weeks first. Apparently it improves the flavour!a few roasted poor people who live in the middle of fields. Or used to.
