Photos displayed at full size?

Can anyone tell me how to upload images to posts so the photos display at 'actual size' (or at least largish), such as you see in the SOTD thread? I try to stick to the 600 rule, but my images always seem to get 'thumbnailed'.

If you open a Imageshack account then as soon as you upload to that site your image is automatically resized, then you can copy and paste your image to the forum, or if you prefer use Photobucket you can, I have both these accounts but prefer Photobucket, better free editing software, but you do have to resize the photo's yourself, anyway in the Feedback and request section there's a good tutorial by Antad on how to upload photo's take a look.

Yeah, you need a web based photo, to post like that. You have to use "insert image" in the tool field (when in advanced mode and not use the New Attachment")...

As said above really. I have my own webspace and upload my photos to that and then use something like this:

Code:
[img]http://mywebsite.co.uk/photos/myphoto.jpg[/img]
