Phoenix and Beau: Menthol soap testers required

Hi guys

I just used the soap and I have to say I like it! :)

For reasons I can't explain I have not used a menthol soap before.

So, could it go colder...... Reading others comments I guess the answer is yes, BUT, I get the impression that the menthol fanboys will always be looking for the most extreme menthol they can find.

Matt

That's right, don't get too caught up in that whole extreme freeze thing. Some of these menth heads can be pretty nuts and always looking for more of a hit.

I like the sound of this. A Proraso type scent? Without the long list of chemicals on the side of the tub? I love the Proraso menthol tingle, but a touch more tingle would be perfect [emoji300]️[emoji300]️[emoji300]️

I remember reading Rod's blog post (Stirling soap) when he was ramping up production of his 'Glacial' line way back when. He forgot to put his respirator mask on once and...in his words; "ruined an entire batch of soap when my nose started squirting blood everywhere when my mucus membranes ruptured from the menthol fumes".
So be careful on the quantities of menthol used. ;)

...no package for me today sadly.

If you need any more testers, let me know - happy to pay for one mate, as I need to order some of your other soap samples - are they back in stock yet?
Thanks Nick, samples will be back soon and available for purchase but not Denali, not until it's finalised.

If this is similar to Proraso in terms of chill then I'd be interested when it goes into full release, as the scent sounds right up my street. Unfortunately the words "bone jarringly cold" put me off signing up for this one. I like a bit of menthol chill, but QCS Vostok doesn't get a lot of use because it's too much.
