Perma-sharp vs Iridium

I have been using perma-sharp super blades for a while (not the gillette ones, the ones in the gold packets) and find them identical to iridium super blades.

I know they now come from the st petersburg factory (same as the Iridiums used to) and seem to be supplied only to the Turkish market.

Could it be that they are one and the same blade?

Anyone else tried them?
 
Tried them before in a 38r and were very good. Got another blade as part of a small sample and tried in my EJ DE89 and wasn't so impressed. Might be a duff blade but didn't feel as close. Might try same blade again in 38r...

Bestshave is a great outfit. Plus I think they have the best prices on Shark stainless steel blades, $21 for 300 shipped.
 
I got a couple of these thrown in with an order from bestshave. Having used the derbys that came with the shaver, these were like going from a butter to a steak knife.

I didn't like them with the cheapo soap, but with arko absolutely fantastic.
 
The gold pack Permasharp blades sold in Turkey were referenced in the initial message to this chain. I would appreciate a clarification regarding the gold pack Permasharp blades. Are they manufactured by Gillette and where they are manufactured, Russia, India, or elsewhere? Gillette separately markets a 7 o'clock green package Permasharp blade manufactured in India. Are the gold pack blades the same as the Gillette green 7 o'clock Permasharp blades?
