Performing razors

I have a stainless Weber pretty much permanently attached to my Hybrid Tech. The heavier head feels quite modern and so paired with a modern (materials) take on the classic Bulldog, it's a perfect match!

Short handles are right on the ASR razors, though ... shorter the better. The older Damaskeene handles are perfect!

... or have used.
I had the luck to use the Colonial Razor General V2 with the original handle.
For sure the best shaver ever used.

As above, switching to a lighter and more balanced version, I enjoyed it much better.

I gave this far too much thought, straight up performance I'd probably go for my Blackbird SS.

Though there were a few others that I kept flipping on (New LC, Lambda Athena, 1956 Tech (the heavier one), Slim, Merkur 39C)

Which gen/plate? Just curious.
Plate 2 and it was his last generation I assume because he retired about 2 weeks later.
