It is a great little brush and works well face lathering soaps & bowl lathering creams. It doesn't have a thick knot, so it doesn't take much to soak and load up. If i had to compare it to my Commodore (£25 on B&H) this is a different beast, thicker knot, deffo more dense and needs lot more water & stuff.
So my final verdict would be, that there is nothing wrong with the EJ BB at all, but if you have the extra £6 and they are still on offer, buy the Commodore, i just think it will last the course longer. In my opinion
