View attachment 21287 View attachment 21288 View attachment 21289 View attachment 21290 My eagerly awaited Schick Golden 500, c/w case and nos blades (haven't been brave enough to try 'em; used one of my existing Schick blades).
Very happy though; it's in really good nick. The images don't do it justice. I'm not sure what age it is. The detail on the underside reads (from left to right) 'P20 Pat. Pending' and 'Made in U.S.A.'. Nice touch with the lever to let the water in. Not sure if it's entirely necessary; unless one's a germphobe. Oh, and it gives a lovely shave (SOTD, q.v.)
Many thanks, my friend .Exquisite one, sir!
Beautiful finish to an already beautiful razor, I would like to have one some day.
These days many guys are tempting me with a straight... or several... Grrr...
Come on over to the dark side. It's fun. [emoji41]
That is seriously nice enjoy!
It is! But after having hoarded dozens of razors... my wife would definitely kill me. Yes.
I've hoarded hundreds and am still alive. It can be done[emoji1]
This lot was too cheap to pass up. Yes, there is some junk in this pile, but enough good ones that it was still a deal.
2nd from the right on the middle row. Is that a Joseph Rodgers & Son Army & Navy Razor?
