A German brewery made a beer stronger than their Tactical Nuclear Penguin so they replied with this.............

Sink the Bismarck............ enough to sink the entire navy... not cheap though.

Where is the line where beer ends & spirits begin? Or is a specific ingredient that makes it beer regardless of it strength??

spirits are distilled, beer is fermentation only. For me, above 7-8° is too strong for a good tasting beer.

It seems that drinkable high strength beer is best left to the Belgians, who certainly seem to have the knack for it. I suppose that Courage Imperial Russian stout is but a fond memory now?

That is how they suggest you drink it. In Spirit sized measures.
