So, I had the urge to buy a new watch. I was looking for a very simple, uncluttered design, and this spoke to me the very first time I saw it. It is a Skagen 'Ancher Steel Mesh'.

It's a very comfortable watch to wear, it almost feels like there is nothing there, it is so light. I love the slim profile of the bezel, the simple, uncluttered design of the face and the overall look of the watch. It simple oozes style. This is my first watch for over a decade that I've purchased, let alone worn.

I bought the same with a blue face about 18 months ago. Agree with your comments 100%. Scandinavian design at its practical best
I did see the blue faced watch, very nice indeed! I favoured this colour over the blue due to it 'going' with more of my wardrobe :)

I do plan on adding more Skagen to my collection, the blue face included.

I was only looking but it turned out to be rude not to - £175 on Amazon but £83.69 from a Google Certified shop - so hopefully not too good to be true. My third Skagen watch and first chronometer. Enabled!

It arrived - wearing it now. From JB Watches.com. Dials are too small to read but the whole effect is butch/macho in an elegant sort of way. Love it! What's not to at 48% of Amazon's price?

Oh! and it came with a £5 voucher for my next watch! As if.
