Maybe this will work for you - I explain my guitars to my wife thusly - They are tools, you wouldn't expect a builder to have just one screwdriver.

Which one, the Long Comb and Short Comb are made so differently that they should be considered completely different razors. The comb length difference is irrelevant, the blade support difference is substantial.

New long comb. Expected it to be more "aggressive" but was just more efficient than a Tech. I liked it
Same for me, i expected it to be more aggressive, i like that i can feel the blade, it stops me using too much pressure and i am very aware of the angle of the razor.
