What does your height have to do with a razor handle?

It was in reply to the guy who posted about handles, he stated he was 6' 2'', it was to give some context to my reply.

I have no idea if my height has anything to do with a razor handle, I've never been a different height for 51 years.

I don't think the length of the handle is a problem, I think I need a fatter handle with lots of knurling for grip.

Once your technique develops you may completely change your mind not only about handle length/width, but about razor aggressiveness. That's definitely what happened to me. I would work with what you have for a time, before throwing a lot of money at the problem. Don't change too many things at once. I started with an R89 and always found it bit too mild (prefer a cheapo Lord) - but there's no doubt with a sharp blade and a good thick lather it can deliver a good shave.

I gave the R89 to the wife & got the R89 twist (found it on sale for £35)
With a feather blade it shaves real nice.
