Muhle R41 v R102

I would like to add an open comb to my rotation at some point.

I've read this forum and other places on the internet and it seems the R41 is the current flavour of the month in the open comb category. Now this may seem silly to some, but I simply like the look of the white R102 better. I also prefer the smooth handle to the swirled effect of the R41.

Given I am leaning towards the R102, no matter how frivolous the reason, can anyone who has seen and used both give any input to help my decision?

Or are there other open combs out there I should consider as well as the Muhles?

The old R41 is an OC the new R41 really isn't open. You might want to look at photos.

I bought a new R41 (swirled handle, which I think is nice) and, more recently, a R... -- forget the number but it's the R89 head with the black handle.

The black handle is lighter than the swirled handle, and I'm sure the white handle would be no different from the black one.

I like the look of both handles, but I like the weight of the swirled one, and I'm glad I have both so I can mix and match.
