Hi,

Decided I want to give an open comb a go, checked with my usual supplier and he sas that the R41 is out of stock for the foreseeable future.

Are there any alterenatives that share the same head as the current R41 from other manufactures?
 
This Thread suggests that the Merkur 15c has a similar head.

This post has weights and handle lengths of various razors for comparison, which again suggests the 15C.

That should help in your decision. Connaught seems to have the 15C in stock. I have recently started using a OC and think they (at least the one I have) give great shaves.
