I've been kind of lazy with posting but here is a summary of other attempts

Picard razor with camel bone and brass scales

Filarmonica 14 DT with ebony and brass scales

Bone scales with a filigree sort of insert (old French inspired) - haven't decided about the blade, I think a 5/8 would work better than a 6/8

A modified box (wanted something rustic - jacobean coloured plain wood with canvas lining, silver gilding) to accomodate 2 razors (Ylomans and Wostenholm) with same combination of camel bone and brass

Again, just to not open another thread and clutter the space...
I'm not very fond of W&B (personally I prefer Frederick Reynolds razors instead) but I kept this one as it gives a nice shave. I have to redo the pinning of the tang, so is on the waiting list. The spacer is longer to compensate for a shorter blade (as a standard I make 15 cm long scales...it happened to have big hands). In summary, I went for combination of camel bone panels with nickel-silver lining and pins
