Slightly off subject, but i have found it also pays to experiment with the way you shave.
For years i did a 3 pass shave consisting of first pass going downwards, then second pass upwards from neckline, then finally sideways inwards from the ears.
After watching some shaving vids, i tried a different approach of downwards, then inwards, then finally upwards and it works well for me - have been doing this for a couple of months and get shaves that are consistently smoother and closer - noticeably less skin irritation.
Point is that shaving is so much more than razor and blade choice.
