My winnings on Ed Miliband were a good excuse for a completely indulgent acquisition so here is "Ed" Polo, a PL14 Best Badger ordered direct from Progress Vulfix. It's a sight to behold and it dwarfs all my other brushes. It's beautifully made and the knot feels so soft it's hard to imagine how the Super would be an improvement. Just one niggle, Simpsons website just quotes the overall height as 145 mm. Mine is 139 mm split between handle 82 mm and loft 57 mm. It is a significant difference but one which is not really of concern because I will rarely give the brush a run out. But I will one day, and then I'll post a review. This is as far as I know the biggest brush in production apart from those made purely for display. So it sits alongside the smallest - the Wee Scott.
