Hi folks. I spotted that Marks and Spencer has a new Apothecary range for men. Has anyone tried it yet and, if so, what did you think? The only thing stopping me getting it is reviews I've read of M&S Wood Spice soap weren't particularly great. Thanks

Haven't tried the soap but I've got the apothecary warmth edp and it's very nice.

The ingredients are VERY similar to the Bulldog soap which doesn't bode well. But the bowl is very nice!!

How similar does it need to be to be the same baring scent. Less than half are similar, the first 5 or so are exactly the same.

It even (kindof) smells the same. Like they added a drop of a masculine fragrance oil to the Bulldog soap!!

I have bought one but I haven't used it yet!!! I'm pretty new to all this so I'm not sure I'm really qualified to review it - the number of soaps I've used could probably be counted on one hand!!!

But I will post when I try it!!

I agree with the above comment. How did you as the end user get on with it; Was it easy to lather, smell, did you feel it shaved any better or worse than soaps or creams you currently use? How does it compare to those few you have already tried.
I personally haven't used many soaps or creams. I quite early settled on using one particular cream, quite boring really. I can still use that as my comparison.
Yes, you are perfectly qualified to give a review however brief or long you make it. It could help others in their decision to buy it.
