Nowadays we seem to have settled with Lavazza (in the red and silver packet) indeed when we see it on offer usually 3 for 2 in the local co-op we'll buy several

I drink it black with a small spoon of Barbados sugar, Brenda usually froths cow juice and floats it on top (ugh!). Here brewed in a 1950's Cona vacuum

I've seen similar ones (Don Fredo, I think some are called), but yours take the cake :D
 
Hi thanks, we use it quite allot though it's certainly not instant it's more an "art form" coffee theatre as you wait for the water to be forced up to the top glass bowl and bubble for a couple minutes, snuff out the meth's flame and wait for the slurping noise as the last dregs are sucked back into the bottom bowl leaving almost dry grounds behind, it was a Flea market find £15 a few years ago, but had x2 strainer/drainer glass rods and x2 meth's burners which are almost fetching that price alone. It had a perished (dry) rubber seal but this guy was very helpful and stocked the spare
