I Agree Chris that was in my original post was would we have felt the same about the razor if it didn’t come in the box.

I would also try a few different blades...I've had very good shaves with Feathers, Wizamets and PolSilvers.

Feather was my first blade and i didn’t like it,
Can’t remember what my second & third was but i’ll look back & check.
I’m willing myself on to like it

Ya know... a less finicky blade than the Feather might be the answer...I really like my Wizamets and PolSilvers (made by the same company) with this razor...the facets and Gillette ninjas are also a good go to blade.
