... and bought a snow thrower, so just need to sit tight until it lands from Germany and of course it'll never snow here ever again (well maybe once in a blue moon - the generator saw off the power cuts :lol: )

We went from 2-3 cuts a month (and I mean ones lasting more than an hour) to none in the month I bought the generator. Since then we've had one cut (week before last) and my genny started first time....

I'll need to change the oil and check the plug in spring as well as performing the monthly test every month of course...

It snowed

Snowthrower did the biz... I was last out in the district to start clearing. Razzed up and down the drive a few times, peppered everyone who dared to pass with flying snow and back in the house before they knew what was going on :lol:

Only con is that I need a longer lead for it - but that will be solved later this morning.
