Ironic.... and sickening.

Well, long story short - my Sailor fountain pen dropped into the river this afternoon.

I'd have went in for it but the river was in a massive brown raging spate after several days of rain so I couldn't see it anyway and I'd have been drowned for sure.

I was standing on a little foot-bridge, roughly about centre of the river and was doodling a few bits and pieces on my Rhodia Webbie notebook (just like I've done a few times) and it slipped out of my hand.

Major bummer... :s

Mark , know how you feel. Had a full sized Pelikan, beautiful pen. First wife took it when she left. God, I miss that pen!
