Good evening Gentlemen. Please forgive me if this is the wrong forum, but can anyone tell me where I can buy some Irisch Moos ?
I love my Tabac, but my nurse keeps turning the air con on full blast when I walk into the room

Irish Moss: The soap quality of Tabac (which IS awesome), with a fragrance that is actually agreeable ;-)

Irisch Moos: a passable attempt to make a shaving stick as good as Palmolive.

My guess is that they can, but that they are testing the waters -- they already have a perfectly good product (the Tabac range) and they may want to gauge the popularity of IM before committing a complete range of products to it?

In it's original incarnation it was introduced in 1969 (as part of the 4711 company) - 4711 was acquired by P&G somewhere along the line, then in 2006/7 the former 4711 brands were sold to Maurer & Wirtz (who have made Tabac Original since 1959)

One additional stage: 4711 was acquired by by Wella (mainly hair care products); Wella in turn was bought by P&G, and in 2006 P&G sold off the 4711 business to Maurer + WIrtz.

Dunno whether 4711, when still independent made IM shaving soap, or only EdT-like IM products.

Yes, although 4711 and Muehlens are (or were; Muehlens was not part of the deal between P&G and M+W), in fact, synonymous; see e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4711_(brand)
