Is this for a razor holder system? sounds like a good way to wall mount them, I have seen people use small screw in cup hooks but with a right angle rather than a curve hook to it.

I am not so sure about the long term ability of suction cups, I had one of those "no fog" mirrors and it came with a decent suction thing where you fold down a bracket to really lock it on tight. It lasted for a couple of months then one night there was a bang as it finally came off the tiles in the shower. I just cleaned it all and stuck it back on and it lasted another few months but I got pissed off with it falling off every couple of months. I now just use a mirror on a stand if I ever want to shave in the shower, which isn't often.

Back to the point, the mirror was a cheap plastic so who cares if it broke but I wouldn't want a nice DE to fall a great distance, you could glue the suction cup on I think but it depends on how permanent you want it to be.

Yeah...I'm thinking of a non permanent storage solution, I hope the suckers have improved since the bad old days but it will need some testing in a hot and humid environment.

Hi antdad!

Sorry, can't really help you with this one, but I suspect you have enough info' to get what you need by now. I have come in here to thank you for your tutorial on soap lathering. If only I had seen it earlier, I wouldn't have suffered so many mediocre shaves to date! I shall put into practice what I have learnt from it as soon as I've finished "cheating" by using creams for a while.

Many thanks, decent lather isn't a guarantee of good shave but it can make a difference.

Use a bowl, don't skimp and make more than you need.
