Whats this Merkur and when will it date from, and how do you tell? I cant really make sense of the guides.

Looks like the 33c to me. Essentially the same head as the HD, but with a lighter handle.

I wasn't aware there was a Merkur dating guide - the only one that seems to be readily deduced and documented is the Gillette one... even Schick/Wilkinson-Sword where marked are still not totally decoded.

I'm certainly not aware of any dating. There's nothing on my 34c (HD) to date it that I'm aware of.

It's a 33C. I have a 33G which is the gold plated version.

No dates on Merkur stuff, as far as I am aware.
