OK, I have had closer shaves, but none this comfortable. I am sure with this razor I can get BBS with absolutely no irritation when I get to know it better.

By the way, the shave was:

Hot shower
MWF
Rooney 3/1 in Best Badger
GEM Micromatic
GEM SS blade
Thayers Medicated Whitch Hazel
TOBS Sandalwood ASB.

I really don't mind starting the day at 5 am, if it starts like this :D

Nice! I got myself one of those razors last year and the blades, but I seem to reach for my straights every shave. I really need to try it out some day ... Yeah, that´s what I´ll do.

I have the same problem, have a few cool things to try, but everytime I'm in the bathroom for a shave, I end up using a straight... :roll:
