I'm an old scrooge when it comes to computer ink. When looking for a replacement HP21 black ink cartridge I came across this. Look at the reviews!

I never have thought I had a problem with some of the stuff I've picked up on Ebay but perhaps I've been lucky.

Can anyone provide a link to a resonably priced reliable HP21 or HP54 offer?

Inkjet printer cartridges are like razor cartridges Fido. They sell you a cheap unit and nail you on the consumables.

Get yourself a cheap little mono laser printer, the initial outlay is higher but a toner cartridge should last you 1.5k pages.

Yes I agree, I use a HP P1005. Think it was about £80 but possibly a bit more. The cartridges aren't cheap but last ages. I've come to the conclusion that the official HP cartridges are worth the money as cheaper refills and knock-offs have either lasted a lot less, printed more faintly or not worked at all.

I don't do much printing, and I've never had a problem with the HP ink. Just didn't keep a note of my last supply. I bought a new HP wireless printer but don't seem to be able to link it up so I'm still using my old one. I'm not a great techie!
