Hi,

More or less a total DE virgin. I found this site through recommendation from badger & blade.

I've been shaving for about a week with a WS Classic DE (the plastic cheapie), and it hasn't put my off totally! Cheeks ok, chin so so and neck still very stubbly so guess some practice is in order.

I joined to get advice, encouragement and some cast off equipment ;)
 
Perfect, as I'd hoped this forum appears to be a residence for gentlemen, cads and bounders to while away their time!

I'm 6 weeks or so into it, and had the same result as you to start.

Now I've almost got it. Neck is much smoother, 1 tricky bit for me is the jaw line but considering how much I've learnt so far then I know it will come in time.

Practice makes perfect and I suspect that your face/bear also adapts to DE shaving in the 1st couple of months.

I'm trying out a various blades to see which give me the closest and most comfortable shave but already I can see that the right blade for you will have a bearing on the result.
