I was looking for a watch to buy on the watch forum TZ-UK when I came across a sales item for DE Razors which was a long thread.

Well that set me thinking as I have been using Wilkinson Quatros seemingly for ever. My last DE shave must have been about 40 years ago, to be followed by Bics, Tescos whatever.

Fired up I have just received my Merkur 38C and had my first shave with it this morning. Just one small nick and a feeling of real satisfaction.

I can see this becoming another collecting thread to go with my watches. God knows what Mrs. L will think!

I had better up the meds to control another urge.
 
Hi & very welcome Dimple, you'll probably find that Mrs. L will be tickled pink when you start taking her all over Oxfordshire for afternoon teas. Well, she will be until she notices that purely by chance there always seems to be a car boot sale on in the village you visit.

Thanks for the welcome Guys. At least shaving tackle should be easier to hide from SWMBO than watches
