Hi , been a long time lurker and thought it was time to make myself known.
Been DE shaving for 4 months and hated it for the past 3 1/2 months .
Since i started DE shaving i have had nothing but trouble on my neck , severe irritation and the odd cut.
I tried using a Merkur 23 , gillette Slim Adjustable , 3 types of Tech British/Canadian/USA all with same results.
Used a palmolive stick/Erasmic Soap and Bluebeard cream.
Tried Derbys / Dorco's / Tesco isreali's and a few others.
Well a few weeks ago i was going to call it a day and go back to my king of shaves azor when i thought i would give 1 more blade a try , the Yellow gillette 7 oclock blade.
What can i say , after 5 shaves not one patch of irritation or cuts even going ATG ( only tried it once so far ), normally 2 WTG would have left me with a raw neck .
So my gear is now a Gillette adjustable set at 4 with the 7 oclocks .
Love getting up 30 mins earlier now .
Lee.
