Just wanted to say hello to the members of this forum and thank you all for the great advice I have read over the last few months. I feel I am a complete convert to DE shaving and hopefully one day learn the art of single blade shaving!
I am currently using an Edwin Jagger DE89BL razor, Fido's New Forest High Mountain Badger 2221 brush, some blades samples from connaught shaving, a palmolive shave stick which Tesco currently sell for an amazing 49p!! and of course the all important alum bloc.
Since I started DE shaving I found that I no longer get shaving rash or irritation I got from when I used to use my Mach 3.

Keep up the good work guys and thanks again for all the tips. :D
 
Hi gfly - and welcome :) I'm new here too - seems like an excellent resource and the guys here are really knowledgeable, helpful and kind! :)

Hopefully I'll be able to give back to this wonderful community over the coming weeks/months :)

Watch Mantic59 on You-tube, there is a lot of advice and tips there. ;)
