Been using a Merkur Futur for about 6 years, so after much toying with the idea (by me), the girlfriend decided to purchase me a straight. Nothing special, but the sentiment was much appreciated. So after sending the thing away to be brought up to standard and after much lurking and tip gaining, tonight was the night.
So took myself to the bathroom and prepared.
After a couple of deep breaths away we went. Managed all the face, only one pass WTG, didn't want to push my luck.The end result was not to bad. Right side fairly reasonable, left a bit patchy.
Could this be the begining of a long and slippery slope ? Well time will only tell.
