Just like to say I'm really glad I've found this forum and it's very informative.
I've returned to using a DE after putting up with substandard shaves from multi-blade disposables for years (and the ever increasing costs!) and the resultant razor burn.
I bought myself a cheap boots jobby and was delighted with the results and so invested in an Edwin Jagger DE89 and a selection pack of blades.
I'm very happy with the resultant shaves I'm getting and will not be going back to disposables any time soon!
