Hello everyone!
I have been lurking around the forum for a while. However I have decided to take the plunge and register.
At 49 years of age, I have started DE shaving in the last few months. I use a cheap Yuma DE razor which I bought from a Turkish shop for £1.99, which gives a good shave. I also have a Wilkinson plastic model and Boots DE razor, although I still prefer the Yuma for the moment. I use Arko as my work-a-day shaving stick and a Tabac stick for the weekend. My shaving brush is a Wilkinson. I use Derby, Wilkinson and Tesco own brand blades. As a newbie I am only confident with the Derby blades, as the other brands seem to cut my face. I now have an enjoyable 10 minute 3 pass shave each morning, like my father and grandfather experienced. Shaving with multi-blades is a thing of the past for me. To top it all, I have started using Tabac AS which has put me in a great frame of mind for the working day.
