Hando - Snow?

Dunno about Hando - but it has been here overnight. It's changed to steady rain now (a lot of standing water, rivers high/burst banks, road closures). About 4" of rain equivalent has fallen in the last 24 hours.
Went out for eggs about an hour ago (police advice: only make journeys where absolutely necessary) and most of the low level snow is now gone, but as the egg vendor is about 300ft higher up than I am, there is still around 4" of snow lying and it was a whiteout at the egg place (while I was there the local traffic cops arrived to get their eggs - must be a busy day for them)

About 4C here in Wythenshawe where I work. Was out at lunchtime in a t-shirt and thin summer coat (and me trousers too, obviously), nearly crying it was so cold.
No eggs either.

41C here yesterday. Pretty chily today though, only 26

No snow at all here, blowing a gale though, and bitterly cold. It's the kind of weather I'd need harmony hair spray for if I'd any hair
