We haven't had a laugh at Basenotes expense for a while.

Below is a partial quote from a review of a cologne.

All you have to do is guess the cologne. Easy? No prizes just for fun.

Unless you remember Jilly Goolden & Oz Clarke on the Food & Drink show on BBC2 - they'd give Basenotes a run for their money... "Ooooh Oz, I'm getting blackcurrants and hot gravel..."

The only aftershave i have ever drunk (and was i ever ) was Yardley Gold. had the look of a Speyside Malt and tasted like it smelled. The most disagreeable thing about it was spending the rest of the evening belching a floral scent, that and it made my fags taste definitely 'funky' :shock:
