I came across this site looking for the best deal on Mitchells Wool Fat. (£4.50 +99p delivery refill) (£14.50 +99p ceramic bowl and soap)

Hi 007!

These Coates cream tubs look uncannily similar to TOBS. Do you know how the contents compare? If they are the same then you can get TOBS creams much cheaper.
 
there's something in the back of my mind that tells me Coates is no longer made :?

Paul at Connaught might know better, but by all accounts it is a good cream with the Sandalwood recieving the most plaudits.

not sure if it was made by Crieghtons, i think it wasn't.

Yep it says that on the Grooming Health website. The tubs are exactly the same as TOBS and so is the style of printing on the lids. I suppose it could be a different cream that used the same packaging plant as TOBS. Who knows?
 
Unfortunately Coates is no longer made. :(

In it's day probably the best cream out there, no joke. I've still got a tub of Sandalwood and last time I looked Paul was still selling some.

And no connection to Creightons, for once.
