So I'm thinking of expanding my tuition service to online lessons via Skype or Google Hangouts.
I tried demo'ing a test call using my wi-fi connection on my HTC smartphone and the time lag is painful, speech and visual is stuttery and out of sync. Would a 4G connection be quicker? And would it not rinse my data if I only get 1GB a month?
Sometime I aim to do this on a desktop but I would need a good quality webcam (dual one if possible) and some mics and possible a mixer.
Anyone knowledgeable on this kinda thing?
