]Hi Guys
I wonder if anyone can shed any light on this razor i think its a goodwill head which says made in Canada patented 1920 1926 1929 1931 with a ball end type handle with Sheffield Wardonia stamped on the ball end.Is this a mismatch razor. The brush is a boar hair with PERSONNA 3 stamped on the side seem quite old wonder if it will pay to have a new badger knot put in and polished up.

I'm sure that if it mentions another brand, then it's a franken razor

The handle looks similar - but without the lettering

Thomas Ward of Sheffield (formerly Lancashire) made the Wardonia range, they had a ball end tech style handle in the 1930's, I suspect they had a link with Gillette as they produced a couple of handles over the years that more than resemble those by Gillette. In fact Wardonia's first ball end predated Gillette's first ball end handle, so who was copying who? This page might help:

I think it's a Frankenrazor, a mix of Gillette Goodwill (Canada) head and Wardonia (English) handle.
Nice.
