My guess is that he has mixed stock, from different sources. Would be possible but lotto winningly unlikely that you got the last of one sort and the start of the others.
As previously mentioned though they're nominally identical so other than the aesthetic of uniform packaging nothing got lost (possibly even gained if the Vietnamese ones were promotional 5+1 packs).
