Gillette Injector Razor.

I understand that Gillette made an injector razor (in the 70's?) which took a twin blade. Does anyone know if that razor would also take a single blade and, if so, where I could lay my hands on the razor? I've checked fleabay with no luck.

I'm not holding out much hope of laying my hands on one, but you never know.

I'm currently into injectors, using a Schick Adjustable for the last month or so and just traded for a Pal Adjustable with Dipesh (thanks again mate).

Here's hoping.

I think the razor you are looking for is the Gillette Techmatic.

I've seen one on ebay in the past, I dont have any knowledge of when it was made or how it shaves.
 
I've seen the techmatic on eBay quite a few times and they are relatively cheap but I've also heard that they are pretty useless to shave with. Can't remember if I read that on a thread here or on B&B.

That's the one. I'm fairly sure it's not the Techmatic which I think uses some type of blade-like band and are not very well thought of within the shaving community, even if you could locate replacement bands.
