Perusing eBay tonight and noticed a cheap source of the green and yellow Gillette 7 O'locks. So I ordered a swift 150

I think that brings me up to about 7 or 8 years of shaves at 3 days a blade......

I dont know if its me,..but if its a blade made in India..I cant stand em..not that I have tried every type but I have yet to find one where I dont have to "connect the blood spots" on my face..make sense?..though I do like the Yellow Gillettes/Dorko Plats/Gillette Extra Bleau blades..for now

Hiya,

I've been using Iridiums for a number of years now, but could easily switch to the SharpEdge without any loss of performance. I have a very hard time telling the difference between the two.

"No they are the green russian super stainless the green indians are perma sharp ones"

Thanks - I stand corrected. I haven't bought any of the greens, just the yellows.

I chanced 50 greens when I ordered the yellows, and will see what they are like when they turn up.

Out of interest how many days do people get out of the yellows - Im on day 4 and Im going to try and push it to day 6.
Just had a refreshing 2 pass and touch up and still felt good.

I get three, smooth 2 pass shaves out of the blades I've used so far.

More than that and the quality of shave deteriorates for me so, given the price of blades, I don't bother.

Might be the case that a good quality blade like the 7 o'clock yellow can go further but I've not tried personally.
