As title finaly found a bladde my skin seems to like :D. But its an iridium super lol which after a bit of digging around seem to have been discontinued.Any blades out there that are as good or do i have to start again :evil: cheers gang.
 
You could always try a 7 O'Clock yellow from Russia which are good..you could also try Gillette Extra Bleue blades...also not expensive and have a "stiff" blade feel..I like em..they make noise :mrgreen:

Cheers guys. Have ordered some 7 oclocks just waiting for them to show do they have Russian writing on the packing or is there another way of telling where they came from? Just this minute got some bleues ordered of the bay heard good things so look forward to trying.
 
I'd echo the choice of blade.

The writing is all in English. It's a yellow packet, all cardboard, with yellow envelopes inside.
The address of Gillette comes up as St Petersburg on the side of the pack.
 
cheers gang, got some super thins already shave well but leave me quite sore for the rest of the day which is a shame as they cut well, any others worth a spin?

These blades will come back on the mkt surely. Doesn't seem to be a supply issue with other Petersburg blades...

It's just that current (western) stocks of this favourite have been hoovered up on the basis of internet rumour.
 
Thanks again gang, tried the yellow 7 oclocks really liked them,dont think they are as sharp but very smooth on my face.Got some gillette bleue on the way and shark ss and chrome, and gillette platinum lol this is turning out to be quite expensive,addictive,but very enjoyable :D
