If you want to see the Spanish version, VintageScent.com has one of the two available, called the "Suave". This is the Spanish "mild" one, in a 150ml glass bottle.
The more mentholated version is called "Vigorosso" if I am not mistaken.

I've tried five different floids

Italian normal (amber)
Spanish suave (amber)
Spanish vigoroso (more menthol)
Italian blue
Spanish blue

I like them in that order. The blue is more modern to me. It's great whatever you prefer.

Both of the connaught ones are italien. So what was with the amber one hando what was in the scent you did not like.

i've just had a ratch in my sample box and the Floid Genuine is gone so i must have PiF'd it on because i didn't like it
the Blue is still there, from the colour you expect a Cool Water type but it's not, more like a nice old school powdery a\s to me anyway
if i remember right (which means i'm wrong) the genuine smelled sickly sweet like a bubblegum

Musgo = very nice scent and works well
but for some people it has a tacky sticky like feel

i cut mine with witch hazel to counter act this
you can also just apply it to wet hands then your face
