Thanks for the mention... The BIC C.P. Are really smooth and sharp, near 'Feather' sharp but with extra smoothness, which gets better on the second shave. Glad you like themView attachment 55333
Razor: Blackbird SB
Blade: BIC Chrome Platinum (1)
Brush: Oumo Chubby
Soap: Extro Del Don
Pre: Proraso White
ASL: L'Oréal Ice Impact
ASB: RSC
The Del Don reminds me a bit of the Pirata. I wouldn't say one is better than the other but there's no point in buying both. This is coming from the guy that puts scents in to three groups so take my comments with a pinch of salt. The notes are:
head: mandarin -petit grain -basil -lily-of-the-valley
heart: lavender-sage-thyme-cassis
background: amber-patchouly-guaiac wood
For the avoidance of doubt, I really like the Pirata and I really like the Del Don. The lather was excellent despite the efforts of the Oumo brush to ruin it. I'm not convinced I like dense stiff brushes.
Because of some new inclusions in the shave, I moved back to the standard handle. I used a BIC Chrome Platinum for the first time thanks to the generosity of B. @Palmolive fox and I'm really impressed with it based on the first shave. If it continues to perform like this, I could have a new entrant to my top 3 blades. 2 passes for an exceptional finish.
It was a well timed acknowledgement of the blade as I had 100 arrive from Turkey today after a blind buy. Glad I like them! Thanks for the mention... The BIC C.P. Are really smooth and sharp, near 'Feather' sharp but this extra smoothness, which get better on the second shave. Glad you like them

Thank you - never heard of it before - I'm obviously using the wrong sort of face cream - hence why I look every day of my 50 odd years - ha ha - cheers - I.Gives you a plump youthful face, just like Donnie in the picture(no seriously, it's a common ingredient in anti-wrinkle creams.)

Cheers - everyday is - indeed - a school day - okay your soap has Q10 in it - but does it have snail secretion as an ingredient? I'm not joking - see here -
I emerged from the bathroom looking like a 12 year old.
I think it's more related to the two new chins I've grown and my homemade haircut rather than the Q10 though.

I didn't know whether this deserved to be taken seriously - apart from anything else - how do you 'milk' a snail - or do you just scrape it up? The mind boggles - evil laugh - you are going to want to try this aren't you? - evil laugh - I.
Snail tickling - and lo - a phrase is born - must be a euphemism? - surely? - you are tempted though? Aren't you? I.tickling snails in his quest for post shave feel!
