Hi all,
I am currently using disposable double blade cartridges, but have been eager to get hold of a safety razor. Today was my lucky day. I was at a local boot sale, and purchased what appears to be an old type Gillette, made in the US. It is in less than amazing condition, in need of some TLC and re-plating to get it back to its former glory. I decided to buy it as a project, and will work on it, shaving with cartridges until I have it sorted. Just thought I'd say hello.

Thanks for the welcome guys. On the brush topic, I already use Crabtree and Evelyn sandlewood soap, but the brush could be improved.
