Erasmic Shave Stick

I just do not understand why anyone has any love at all for Erasmic sticks. It just boggles my brain.

I have one of the new 'reformulated' ones that has tallow and it is a bit feeble on the lather. I have some of their older cream in a tube that is far better IMO. As many have stated, the smell is great however. Then again, it really is silly to pick a shaving soap/cream for the scent, especially if a person is going to use aftershave afterwards.

I don’t know if my mind is playing tricks on me, but iI recall my father using Erasmic shave stick back in the 60’s. It was a white cylinder of soap stuck into a red base that had a protective tube you could put over the soap that pushed onto the red base - the make seems to have been around for years.
I also recall the nubbin of soap left at the base that was difficult to get at. He’d rub the stick on his growth then get in with a brush, so once the soap had got to the base level and his chin couldn’t get any more purchase on the last of the soap trapped inside the base, it ended up going in the bin.

Yep! That makes sense.
