To answer my own thread, I purchased a Dscosmetics A2S synthetic brush on Aliexpress, 26mm bulb, 52mm loft and 66mm handle.
It cost £21.38 delivered
The fibre is very soft, feels like badger, for face lathering it performs really well, no brush irritation at all, it doesn't smell or lose hair.
My previous brush was a Yaqi synthetic, the new one is better in every way a different league of synthetic.
